Laptop as DVD source to TV

I am attempting to output a DVD video via s-video to a TV. The screen will display fine, but when I attempt to display video via PowerDVD, I only see a black box where the video should be. I have tried switching between software and hardware playback, but neither works. BSPlayer _does_ work, but the playback is choppy with this program. Does anyone know of a good way to do this?

Hey

This is a common thing, and the simple way to get around this is to change the 2nd screen eg the TV as the 'Primary' display instead of the PC and you will be able to get your video.
