hi, my patched game is almost half the size of the original ISO?

hi there, quite new to this patching malarky, been reading thru the threads and appreciate u lot get fed up with the same noob questions over and over but here goes.

im trying to get NBA street v3 to work with swap magic 3.6, i managed to patch it ok, but the output file was only 2.8 gig where the original was 4.5 gig, is this right? ive tried the patched game and it still sticks at the 1st loading screen :-(

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

all u need to do with swap magic 3.3 is rebuild that game and it does become half the size and it works. so im assuming itll work that way for 3.6
