If they are made in Japan, you have a good chance. If they're made in Taiwan, you don't!

Sony +1x-8x made in JAPAN: Code- Yuden000-T02-50 pack spindles
Sony +1x-8x made in Taiwan: Code- Sony-D11- 25 and 50 pack spindles.

Both are very good,but when the 50 pack spindles are on sale,they usually are all mixed together. Just look for Made in Japan on those labels. For the same price,I feel better if it says Made in Japan.

However,you can never figure sony out. Specially on their dash media. They will use the same codes for both taiwan and japanese sony's. I found this several times on the sony -1x-4x coded:Sony-04D1 on both taiwanese and austrian media. Also sony -1x-8x coded:Sony08D1 for japanese and taiwanese media.
