Well, I'm just asking you how can I make DVDs with my SAMSUNG CD-RW 40-12-40, on my regular CD-R discs of 700 Mb.
I've just received an advertising message telling that Replicant (DVD Copying Software Suite) can make DVD's with a regular CD-RW drive and on regular CD-R discs.
Well, I would like to convert my Avi DivX movies back tu DVD and to make new DVD's with my CD-RW drive.
Don't you think that is very nice to download DivX movies from internet and to make DVDs in such a cheap way ?! A DVD at the price of a regular CD-R disc !
I'm asking you, is it possible ? Or are just words ?

Well, I would like to find jazz, opera and classicall music concerts in DivX format, but, unfortunately, I'm the only one person on earth looking for that... hmmm... insensible world...

Has anyone tried Replicant? DVD Copying Software? Did it work as advertised? Does one DVD movie fit on one CD-R? Thanks.

Claims to copy DVD as it is to CD are simply b.s. DVD contains upto 8.5GB of data and CDR can only hold upto appx. 800MB of data. Simple as that.

All of those tools that you see advertised for "DVD to CD" backups make actually VCD copies of the movies and there are far better tools for doing that available _for free_ from sites, such as ours.

Please visit our guide section and you see what I mean:
