Folks

how are you? I want to get into editing movies... specifically thai boxing fights that i help organise. We use a video camcorder and then copy onto dvd by linking it up to a dvd recorder.....

The problem here is the recorder puts in chapters say every 5 mins ( its not mine ) i just get the dvd, and so what i want to do it remove the chapters and place new chapters at the start of every round and every new fight...

is this possible and ( the removing chapters ) and if so any help is appreciated

if you have a capture card on your computer you could capture the film from the camcorder in real time. Set up your software to not put any chapter points in. That's the only thing I can think of.
