when i convert a ntsc game to pal, a bit of the screen is chopped off at the bottom, is there any way to fix it?

No, that is just the way it is. Unless of course you have a good mod chip (DMS4 Pro)
Not sure but there are also converters you can buy for your TV that may do a better job and not have any picture loss, depends how much it really bothers you.

thank you, it doesnt really matter as most of my tv's support PAL and NTSC playback
but the tv near my computer doesnt :(
