pstwo(slim) with swapmagic3.6 & slimtools

well got a pstwo about a week ago but still unsure how to mod it to play backups. ive read into chip and non soldering solution as well as swap magic. but im still unsure what to get. i dont mind getting the slimtools with swapmagic but some people have complained saying that their pstwo dies out on them after a few days. something to do with a booby trap sony has built in, to the pstwo. is this true. how many people here use slimtools and sm3.3 or 3.6 and how long have u had it running without your ps dying or laser burning out.

by the way im using a 70003 uk pal version of pstwo

I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and I have absoultely no problems with 3.3 or 3.6

Always live in the now... you never know when you won''t wake up. I own swap magic version 3.6 and use dvd decrypter and alcohol 120%.

what version of ps are you using. is it pal/ntsc? slim or normal? do you know the model. eg v12, v7, etc. Also what dvd media do you use?
