Hi everybody, I am trying to convert my divx movies to dvd. I have found 2 guides, but could anybody tell me which one is better? And also will any of them decode the audio in the divx file to ac3 5.1(there is 5.1 audio in few divx files, so I would really like to get it on the dvd too). thanks a lot!

You can extract the AC3 stream from the AVI (open it with VirtualDubMod; do Stream__Stream List__Demux).
After that, you usually just have to 'author' the M2V video to any sound you have (an uncomprssed WAV, a MPA for DVD, an AC3 dolby surround stream, a DTS stream...). Obviously, this only depends on the 'authoring' application (the application who adds into the new DVD [image] the 'pieces' you have - 1*video + N*audio(s), maybe adding menus and other fancy stuff), not on the 'movie encoding' one (the one who makes AVI --> M2V).
