I am dissambling my ps2 to put in the DMS 4 EZI Pro modchip I got yesterday. I have tooken it all apart except for the fact that the silver base at the bottom. There are like 9 different tiny screws holding it. So far I got all of them except 4 and they are were under the power supply. I have broke my only precision screwedriver on these 4 trying to get them out. Is there a special tool to use to get these suckers out because it feels like they are welded in there.

please help. these screws are freaking hard to get out. They wont move.

try getting a bigger screw driver
one with a #2 tip (smaller tip)
can get them at a electronics shop

you cant get enough torque with those small precision screw drivers

What I did was put my precision philips screwdriver in there so it's ready to take the screws out, and then I used a pair of needle-nose pliers to grab onto the screwdriver, and twisted with that. The screws came right out, I think I just needed the extra leverage to get them started.
