No, not groovey-- annoying.
Good friend just sent over a hard drive (instaled to slave) full of goodies from the UK to my 'prison' in France.
Most movies work fine but a couple are, well, half green (ie no picture-- just green--slightly pixelated).

Just looked at the files properties for clues and looks like the suspect files haven't been compressed! So, er, if anyone wants to tell me how to do this whilst i try and find out: I'll race ya!

Well now I feel like breaking the pc to pieces, again.
The files I can't play are over 1gb in size (.mpeg)think they're copied from the tv or something (cos they're tv programmes right?)
So I downloaded ashampoo and that piece of crap won't do anything to any of my files, even the ones that work.
