Ok, I'm gonna be buying a dvd drive for the new computer that im building. But theres lots of different kinds of dvd drives. Like, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD RW, etc. I want to be able to copy DVD's and view xbox disk and see .xbe files, not view it like a normal dvd. So can someone help me out?

If you are building a new computer, then you will have at least one Serial ATA (SATA)connector and probably more on your motherboard. Since that is the case, there is one and only one dvd burner that I can recommend. It is the Plextor PX-716SA (Serial ATA) 16x Dual Layer burner.

I am running two of them and they are fantastic. I have owned other brands and was waiting to Plextor to put out a better one, and they certainly did.

If you are outside the state of California, try Newegg:

or http://www.24x7pc.com/cdromplextor.htm

In either case make sure that you get the PX-716SA (Serial ATA model).

Although the Plextor cost a bit more $135.00 or less including tax and shipping, you cannot go wrong with the Plextor.
