Hi
I tried to patch Sonic heroes by editing the dummy file, but i get an error saying the files is too big for note pad use another editor, i tried word pad but this crashed the system. Is there another editor i can use? I think the file is 1.5 gig not sure now because i deleted the folder. Heres how i went about it, is this where the fault lies?
1 inserted disc
2 opened isobuster and extracted all files to my C drive
3 tried to open the dummy file with note pad

Any help greatly appreciated

Just use notepad.
Make A new text document.
Type "hi" .
Save as Your dummy file.

Hi
Sorry to be a pain. I have ripped the game onto my hd and created the file as you said and saved it to the sonic folder. Now do i just delete the _DUMMY_ BIN IMAGE ? and just have a text file left in the folder?
