Ulead Videostudio 9 messing up my codecs!

I just downloaded the free trial of Videostudio 9, and as soon a I installed it, my Windows Media Player couldn't read audio for MPEG-2 files, and Videostudio itself has trouble with MPEGs!

Is there any way I can install the demo without it messing up all my MPEG decoders?
