is there any cheats (AR, GS, XP...) that will work with back-up disks? by the way, i have my ps2 modded, too. thanks for ur inputs

Well i think if you have a modchip you should be ok using the likes of Action Replay, you would only need to stick the backup to boot with cheats. When you press the eject button it sends a single tell the ps2 to check the disc's code and make sure its the real thing, you say you have a modded ps2 ( i assume its a modchip?) so i would think you could just press eject and put the backup in after you select the cheat codes you want and boot.

cheats will work with backups just fine. Depends on what you mean by modded? My DMS4 Pro will load AR Max codes using backups just like originals.
With Swap Magic there is a different method using DVDLoader which if you search the forums you will find.
