Hello,

I installed a Magic KX+ in my PS2 Slim v12 and when i boot a backup game it gives me the red screen requesting an original ps2 game. can some one please tell me what i might have done wrong. It does play originals fine. i checked this.

also if found 2 installation diagrams for this chip in a ps2 v12. the first one places the scex wire on the board.

the second one places the wire on the dsp chip and on the other side of the chip two pins a jumped.

which way is better?

also do i need to flash this chip like the dms pro chips?
