problem with x box PAL/ NTSCJ and NTSC

while playing around with my xbox, i was in slayers xbmc and changed the default setting, in xbmc there is a heading called settings. There is PAL/ NTSCJ and NTSC not knowing i changed to pal by mistake, my pictur on my tv began flipping and i could not see to change the settings back, i checked everywhere for help, but nothing worked, finally i took the yellow RCA plug, plugged it into the yellow camera inpute on my panasonic dvd recorder, a vcr or dvd player may work also, and i was then able to see enough to reboot my xbox while hitting the red B button on the xbox controler to get to bios and change the settings to disable pal, if your having this problem also, this should fix it.
