Is the new toxic DL 1.0 patch any good for people with flip top lids?

Even if I make the backup with the new dl 1.0 toxic patch it won't matter cause I won't be able to use this GT4 backup with SM/fliplid V12 ps2 correct? cause Swap magic won't boot DVD9 backup's correct? So what can I do then? Wait for a Swap magic DVD9 version or get a mod chip instead? So what about the EA mothod maybe I could UP the TOC size using another DVD9 game maybe like MGS2Sub? that wouldn't work would it? thanks

swap magic cannot boot dvd9 backups, and there will never be a dvd9 swap magic version. And, no, the toc thing wont work either. Your only option at the moment is a good modchip.
