Hey there wiseman51, quite a nic that . .

In keeping with your nic -

DVD XCopy hasn't been made for more than a year - For that long there's been no company, no pple to do anything at all to or with DVD XCopy.

In OVER a year and 1/2, No one worked upon DVD XCopy because they saw the company was going "Belly up". No updates, no allowing for Dual-Layered discs and NO they don't recognize some of the newer DVD discs that can burn at speed (they weren't released yet and XCopy didn't employ any psychics. There will be no upgrades now or in any future release. The programs being sold now are old, defunct, out-dated DVD XCopy's which, are being sold to pple who weren't smart enough to know that buying something, never to be made again and seriously out-of-date now, would be a poor choice indeed. There are free programs available which can do a job with 4X the quality and less mousie clicks than DVD XCopy.

So to answer your question and the many, many out there reading this, that are finally finding out that they got "taken": as most of us were, even when the company was in business, it was a poor product. NO, there will be no upgrade no matter what somebody told you - they lied. They said there were upgrades and updates because they wanted to sell you something, which by rights, they should have given away.

If you haven't been "clipped" by un-truth in advertising - Buy 1-Click DVD Copy. It too has poor quality, about the same as XCopy BUT it is being made, it is updated and lastly, it's sooooo easy you don't know how to read to use it . . .
