I have v7 scph39001. I was going to replace my laser and was wondering if the "400C TYPE" can replace my "R TYPE" laser. If not is there anything I can do to make it work?

Nevermind I just reprogrammed the eeprom in my ps2 so i could use different laser versions in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
