Problem with TMPG

When using tmpg everything works fine until i try to start encoding and get the error msg "There is no quoted number of character string %.2f" can anybody tell me what this means or what i am doing wrong any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated

my girlfriend saw on another site that it was something to do with disk space but it strikes me as a rather elaborate way of crypting a message. Other than that i dont have a clue!!

Also it doesnt do it on all films just a couple.Oh by the way thanx again for the help on resizing tmpg does the job just a bit slower than divx
