I live in the US. My mother lives in Belgium. She brough a Sony DVD Player recently Model No. is Sony DVP-NS730P.

She can play most DVD's normally. But when she plays some of the DVD's the picture comes out to be black and white. Those DVD's plays fine at her friends place on their DVD Player.

What are the possible reasons to this?
