Can anyone recommend a make of blank DVD to back up PS2 games that is cheap and works well. Because the discs I use at the moment are Datawrite red general purpose, and they dont work.

Also is it possible to load back-up psx games on CDr using swap magic?

I wish I could tell you I guess you have to experiment with differant cheap brands..lol..
Nah.. you know I've researched all kinds of on brands, I've been using some cheap durbrand cd-s and dvd-r and have had NO problems with any of them... I have a buddy from Taiwan and he was saying that alot of these factories over there that produce products such as cd's and dvd's are in the same factory for like 10 differant brands.. look at the labels and look where its made I found 5 that were all "cheap media to expensive media" of the same standard and they all said "Made in Taiwan"

I hear that the cheaper brands cause the laser to work overtime, but I guess I have a really good dvd player and PS2 b/c that all I use for the last 2 years and it works great and they both are still working fine
