When i extract a dvd video file from my documents that has been previosly backed up by dvd shrink i import the video files to win dvd creator editing. From here i select the video files - generally 3 to 4 files.
I check the files for video and audio content. Quite often all is ok and i can succesfully burn to dvd. Lately i have noticed that 1 or more files has no audio which is subsequently reflected in the burned dvd. Note - this does not occur with all dvd's .I have gone back to dvd shrink and played the file and it does so with complete audio. So i don't think the problem is with the shrink software - perhaps it is in the win dvd creator. Can anyone please advise.

Welcome to the forum.
Why not since the files are compressed anyway on the HD just use Shrink again and then use DVDDecrypter in .iso mode to burn the files to DVD. Or you could just use DVDDecrypter to burn the files by doing a Mode>.iso > read and then Mode > .iso > write. If you kept the audio on the HD from the original compression then there is no reason to use that program that is sometimes giving you problems

I experienced the same "no audio" when using shrink. But, all is well if you start the movie from the menu or play the disk in a "home" dvd player.

I did as you suggested with a saved file and created an ISO file and used Decrypter to burn the disc. The DVD came out perfect with no loss of audio in any section. Thankyou for your help.
