There are programs that will copy bad sectors and stuff from CD, do they make these absolute 1:1 copiers for DVD also? I have a scratched PS2 game (FFX) that plays fine but the damned thing keeps hanging half-way thru reading because it can't read over the scratch or something. I've tried with Alcohol and DVD-Decrypter with no luck, maybe CloneDVD? I know CloneCD was real good at that at one time...

I guess I could try taking it down from MAX to 1X or something, but that probably just means an hour wasted instead of 4 minutes. -_-

*edit* I just checked "ignore read errors"... we'll see what happens I guess. I'm not sure how this gets put on the copy, does anybody know? Does it delete the sector entirely or does it try to emulate a bad sector? I'm not sure if the copy will play right like this, if it deletes it altogether, it might cause problems... hmmm...

*edit2* HOLY CRAP, 234 errors and rising, this could take days, its going at like 0 - 10 KB / sec. *sigh* They are all right together, almost to the half-way point of the disc, and so is a circular, semi-wide scratch on the DVD itself. But it works!! =\ I hope the backup works too.
