I notice that some people are talking about for certain games you have download the iso from the cpu. How do you do that if windows is not loaded on to the hdd? I just want to know becuase I'm having problems with certain games.

you need to physically hook up the HD to your PC to transfer that junk. you also need WinHIIP or PS2Handiness to transfer ISOs to your PS2 formatted HD.

So let me see if I understand you correctly. So all I do is transfer the iso image but I do not transfer windows xp.

If you dont understand about master/slave ide settings then i wouldnt reccomend opening your pc!!!!

Basically, add the PS2 hard drive as a slave drive and still boot into the win xp drive as master. the PS2 drive will appear as an extra hard drive in my computer. Then fire up one of the programs stated above and continue from there.

I have never done this myself so that is all i can help you with.

Now I have another problem. I use my maxtor hdd as a slave, now my cpu is not reading my master or my slave drive. What is the problem?
