I have tried using my DVD EXPRESS to burn this but got an error message, also tried shrink and got an error message, the last straw was to try DVD Decrypter and this is the error message I received
***DeviceIO control (FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) FAILED
Device (1:0:0) Hp DVD writer 300N 3.20(E:) (ATA)
Unable to lock volume for exclusive access
Reason: access is denied

What does this error message mean,

My systems is as follows
HP 300 I DVD Writer
Windows XP Home
DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seem like you have packet writing software running in the background (e.g. INCD or Direct CD). These can interfer with your burning process.

Advise to delete or disable these type of programs.
