I am unable to make a backup copy of The House of Flying Daggers from Sony. Can anyone tell me which program can I use to make a good copy. Please reply

Let me be a little bit more specific about my problem. Here it goes. I am able to burn the movie without any problems, but when I try to play the movie in any DVD player it doesn't go to the main menu and it's start playing from chapter 3. Which is part of the features in the main menu. When I try to go to the main menu the DVD just stops playing. I tried copying the movie only and when I play it in my DVD player, It will loop over and over in chapter 1. Is anybody having the same problem? Please reply.

Here's a thread from the DVD Decrypter forum that discusses a similar problem.

It looks like Decrypter inserts some blank sectors in. You may be able to trim this out with DVD Shrink's "set start/end frames" feature once the movie is ripped. Are you trying to do a full disc backup or just the main movie?

I tried both, copting the main movie and copying the entire DVD. I still get the same result. I am able to copy the DVd but when I play it it doesn't allow me to go to the main menu. Thanks for the thread. I'll be checking it out as soon as I get the confirmation email from Invision Power Boards.
