.wmv to dvd or vcd??

Hi everyone

I just downloaded a coupple of .wmv files. I can view them on my laptop using windows media player. but i would like to watch them also on my TV. I don't care if it's dvd or vcd, what ever is easier.

I already tried using Toast. I clicked on the video tab, Video CD, but then when I tried to drag and drop the files I got error message saying this is an unsupported file...
then i tried on data tab, DVD-Rom that didn't work....

Oh I guess i sould mension that i'm mac user...
