Ok this problem has plagued me for a while now so Ive decided to turn it over to the knowledgable minds at afterdawn.
Basically, I have downloaded several movies in bin/cue format(actually they are SVCD format all rolled into a bin/cue).From this point Ive taken my DVD authoring several ways, but the most recent way I've tried is, using "isobuster" I managed to isolate the .mpg file.Then I used "AVI MPEG RM WMV Joiner" to (obviously) join the mpg files together from cd1 and cd2.Now I Have the whole movie on the PC in one Mpg that plays fine on the computer.Now here is where I think things go wrong.I try to go to Nero burning rom to put to DVD but it says the file in essence is not DVD compliant.Ok no problem, so I go Xilisofts video converter that has worked well before for me (on certain things)to convert the mpg file to a .vob file.It finishes then I take it to DVD-lab it does its job getting everything all together, then I burn it using nero. Now my Problem. The video and audio are out of sync.My Question....Why?Is it in the encoding process or is it DVD-labs compiling method or something else?
Any info on why this is happening and how to correct it would greatly be appreciated.And sorry for the long message but I thought you'd need to know what Im doing to fix the problem
