I use TMPEG to encode it to m2v and wav file.
I import them into DVD Lab just fine (it does not prompt me to demux or anything else) and work up my project.

Next I hit compile then I get this:
A serious error occurred during the compiling of the files.

""The compile process canÂ?t continue and has been aborted. If your source files are non elementary files, demultiplex them first and use them to compile the DVD again.

If this didnÂ?t help, try to reencode the files again. Make sure you use DVD compliant settings in your encoder.""

1) What am I doing wrong?

You're not using DVD compliant settings in your encoder.
What settings are you using in TMPGEnc, on the settings tab, the Advanced tab, and the Audio tab?

Black holes are where God divided by zero...
Cheers, Jim
