Hello, This is my firts post, but I was reading quite a lot in the "GT4 Official Thread". since I to want to make back up of the game also.

But whil Reading I discovered that its impossible to make a back up of the game on a duel layer DVD since our burners do not support some special burning method. So burning games like "MGS:Substance" and "GT4" will show no result. Well I made a back up of GT4 to a duel layer only to discover that only the black info loads and then nothing.

So that brings me to my quation. While searching the web, I discovered new modchips that claim to play DVD9 backups (DMS4, Matrix indinity).

It doesn't sound resoanoble to since I read that we have to burn the backups in a special way not accesable to us yet.

So does thouse modchips have some way to play a regular back up of DVD9 games? and is it worth bying them?

ps.
My friend have a xenosaga episode one back up on a regular DVD5.
And I keep telling him that he have a ripped vertion of the game since I own the original and it takes more then 4.7 Gigas.
Am I right? or some people managed to back the game up on a reguular DVD5?

you have to make an iso and download toxic dual layed path. patch the iso with toxic and burn the iso. ive done it and am using the duo 2 chip and it works fine. and ur game is a dvd5 so your mate is right

use the seach to locate the patch ok

Thanx alot. so that means that I will not have to buy a new chip? yehee ^_^
