I just got a nice DVD burner, a plextore px-716 but the book isnt much help on converting files and such.
I'm really lost on how to get a downloaded avi/divx/mpeg file to burn to a dvd-r disk. I have a couple of programs downloaded. I have somethign called divxtodvd but when I convert my plextor software cant recognize the converted files. I also have a freeware program called AVS Video Converter. That looks like it will do it, has buttons for DVD or MPEG and such but you have to buy the registery key for $25 but before I buy im not sure if that will do it.
load the bup/ifo/vob files that divxtodvd converted for you in to Nero! click on add-video tab in dvd mode, it will make a folder called VIDEO_TS put those files inside it and burn!
hi Eric, you can first convert your avi/divx/mpeg file to dvd formt, and then, burn it to DVD disc. And I think WinAVI video convert is your best choice, for it not only can convert your files perfectly, but also can support to burn your discs.
By the way, you can download a trial version of it to have a try! http://www.winavi.com/WinAVI_Video_Converter.exe...
