Hello all. sorry if this has been asked before, i have tried searching but i dont really know what to ask for.

I have a screener copy of a movie on dvd and i wanted to know if its possible to edit the video to 'cover up' the writing that runs along the bottom of the screen every now & then. i dont really want to change the screen size, just 'superimpose' the widescreen lines top & bottom to cover the writing, if thats at all possible.

oh, i hope i started this thread in the right place, i think its classed as re-authoring, right?
