Alright, so I've read "The Official GT4 Thread" and learned that there is indeed a way to back up GT4 using only DVD Decrypter, a patch and a DL dvd burner.

I hope someone can confirm a working method below so people from now on won't have to click through all those pages to find the method. In fact, I think it would be best to keep this thread short too. Perhaps someone who has successfully backed up a copy can list the steps or maybe write a brief instruction on how to do so?

Please admin, "The Official GT4 Thread" is filled with concerns and questions. I really think this thread can generally sum up a working method and end all future GT4 backup questions.

As for myself, I have a LG DL burner : GSA-4160B , DVD Decrypter , Memorex 2.4X 8.5GB Double Layer DVD+R and I'll see if I can get it to work pretty soon.
