Hi, I am 38 years old, I still live with my mom, and I have never had a job or a girl friend(or any physical interaction with a girl at all). I am short, fat, and semi-bald. I am freaking cursed by having all the characteristics of a loser. I jack off 5-7 times a day and the rest of the day I spend playing runecape. My mother has been getting sick a lot lately and says that I need to learn how to live on my own. Bullshit, I have no idea how to take care of myself! I can't cook, I don't have a liscence, or a job, nor do I know how to do laundry. Shit I don't even know how to order a pizza. Mother has done these things for me all these years and now expects me to know how to do it. What the hell am I going to do when she dies?! This fucking sucks ass! What the hell am I supposed to do with my life? Sorry for the bad language but I am really pissed off right now! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

well than you might be sol because you have to do it not us telling you to do it. your 38yrs old, half of your life is gone & what do you have to show for it but nothing. does your mother pay for your toys or how do you get the money to buy them?

You're a great case for a mercy killing. Maybe momma could do the world a favor and off you before she kicks it. Wait I have a better idea - why don't you have momma build a time machine since you can't do anything, go back in time and convince her to get an abortion so you were never born. Problem solved!

did you go to college or anything? if she's been paying for all your shit for years, you can milk a cheapass car out of her. learn to drive...quick. exercise and read through some cookbooks and *gulp* self-help books. the time to do some quick learning is now. you still have time to become a carpenter :)
@ Neph: or he could convince her to not let him laze around and get away with doing nothing for 38 years. she sounds like she never did the one thing a mother is supposed to do: teach her offspring to function independently of her.

jesus christ, im 23, moved out when i was 17, own my own car/house, steady job on good pay, been with my missus for 3 years. Your a great case for natural selection, play on a free way somewhere.
Why dont you join the armed forces (get you out of home, job, see the world, pay, housing, you might even get a root, and you will never have to make a decision in your life, just take orders all day which sounds like something even you could do)

When I was 27 mother sent me to a college out of state but I was unable to get myself any food or wash clothes or get to my classes so I just sat around in my dorm all day eating snacks from vending machines. Therefore after 2 weeks she had to come and get me and take me home. So I have no college degree. Also, I have never set foot behind a steering wheel(mom never let me). SHIT! I dread getting a job so much, I don't want to be interviewed or fill out some long ass application! I THINK I AM GOING TO CRAZY HAVE TO DEAL WITH ALL THIS CRAP!!!!!!

you're not gonna get much of a job. period. so take what you can get. at this point in your life, odds are you'll shit your pants trying to go back to school, so the only thing i can suggest is trying to apprentice at something that's relatively hands-on. and you're gonna have to stop taking your mother's orders. if she had done her job, you'd have never let yourself get to this point, so it's time to do what most people do in their teens: rebel against your parent.

my grandfather was 12 years old when he left home; he grew up quick. while those were different times, you'll have to do the same thing. like i said before, get some self-help books and, since you're online a lot, read some stuff. time to learn to write checks, pay bills, do your taxes, and all sorts of stuff. you have 20 years of learning to fill in very quickly.
