i want to snapshot a movie. i tryed pressing printscan but when i paste it in paint it comes up as a black screen. anyone know how?

Have your tried screen capture software? There are some free ones and free to try that would get the job done.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it

easy to take a snapshot !! take a camera and click !!! lol!!joke !
i use PowerDVD its a free player !and there a button to take a snapshot of the video !!!

Then don't. WMP cannot do screen caps, because it uses overlay.
Open the file in virtualdubmod and grab it, or use WinDVD/PowerDVD, or even Irfanview might do it.
Black holes are where God divided by zero...

its cool im using WindowMPlayer too ! but when a want to shapshot the frame i use PowerDVD !!

Use Windows Media Player to play movie , pause where you want to snapshot, Hit Ctrl-I and a save screen will pop up and ask you for a name...I use this method on all of my movie titles...

Hi - I just installed Power DVD to take snapshots (I assume you mean I can save video frames as pictures). I do not see this option, however if anyone can help
