help with burning ps2 games plz

Couple of Questions
1.) I dont have the exact game...but i can get it online from this program i have...so would this affect any burning i can do with it?
2.) What and how would i use a mod chip?
3.) What is Swap Magic?
4.) Wat would i burn the game onto? A CD or DVD and wat kind of it?
5.) Wat do u mean by backing the game up?
6.) How exactly would i burn it?
I have a version 9 PS2 if that helps....im REALLY REALLY new at the burning thing...just thought of it today and i dont know how to do nething at all.... the program i use is called Limewire and the files come in Zip Folders (the only ones i will download), then i extract it and check to see if thats the game i wanted and wat kind of file it is....so help would be wonderful

1) Shouldnt do if its a clean rip
2) You solder the modchip to the circuit board of the PS2
3) search google for swapmagic
4)depends what game it is
5)A back up is just a copy of a game.
6)You can burn it using DVD Decrypter, Nero or Alcohol 120%

ok....so if i can get a clean rip it shouldnt affect it at all right?
how would i get a mod chip cuz i have no idea what that thing is...and how would i know if its already on my ps2?

There are numerous places where you can buy a mod chip or swap magic. Again search google.com. Then once u have that we will worry about burning the games because backups are useless without a chip or swapmagic.

and a mod chip is a MUST have? why? cuz i cant buy a mod chip or the swap magic cd....

its called copy protection. a modchip or swap magic bypasses the ps2 copy protection.

Yes. You'd still need to bypass the protection. The copy protection is not in the game, it's actually part of the disc itself. If you look at an original playstation 2 game and at a blank cd/dvd, you will see the difference by the hole in the middle.

Swap magic has to be ORIGINAL.
you cant use a backup of swapmagic.
Also you need a 'tool' to open the tray WITHOUT" pressing eject.
Last but not least.
