well im new to the whole modchip/backup thing and im looking to purchase a modchip for my ps2. i was searcing and started seeing different modchips are for different versions. my ps2 reads

SCPH-30001 yea its pretty old.. one of the first ones.
what modchip will work for my ps2 and be able to play any back up?

also how may wires are in soldering chips?

are there any solderless CHIPS for my verson. im not to crazy about the swap disc thing.

i dont know if i can post website links but www.modchips.ca has some good stuff. Im not promting it, it in Winnipeg,MB,CANADA so it could take long to recieve
