HD loader ... Can i just boot the disc and go?

If i buy the HD loader disc, can i just instantly use it and install the games onto the HD or do i have to connect the HD to my CPU somehow.. it all confuses me, also is there a place to just download HD loader and put it on a CD to use? ... Thanks

also if someone can e-mail me a link to download the downloadable version of HDLoader (Is this the program that lets you load PS2 games onto your HD?) That would be greatly appreciated... help a brotha OUT~!

yes, you can just use it and install games with just your ps2, no computer needed. A downloaded version is only good if you have a modded ps2.
