Hi,
Thanks for this tutorial. In the beginning it answered many of the questions that came up while trying to get started in the DVD backing up process. Since my two year old son loves to throw them around and then put them in the DVD player and play them, I figured, I should at least back them up in case the originals were to break!
I was able to rip a DVD using mactheripper, however, I am stuck at that stage! I am looking for compression software as well as burning software. Are there any free software that you would recommand for both applications? (I have a powerbook g4 running of osx 10.3.9)
