I'm looking for some "substitute" discs for some dvd-r's that I purchased thru a dvd duplicator vendor. These discs are shiny, white, inkjets. They have a code which begins with J3-05L2305......
Does anyone know of similar substitutes? I like the shiny nature of these discs....much different than Verbatim DVD-R and Maxell DVD-R that aren't shiny...

I have done some further searching and run across discs labeled, "Photocoat."
These are inkjet discs with shiny coat and are available from www.issidata.com
what r u using these dvd-r for? sounds like some no name media that wont last more than a couple months. i wuold beware of these kind of "cheap, cheap, cheap dvd-r sales" u never know what ur gonna get.

Understand exactly what you mean.
The shiny discs included with our DVD duplicator and another box of 50 burned with only 1 or 2 coasters. I was trying to find another source.....just have to try them and find out.
