I have this unusual problem...my mp3's sound fine, but my with my wav files the treble is really harsh and has distortion in the highs. It's so bad that it eventually blows the tweeters on my speakers. I've gone through 3 pairs of speakers so far. Like I said, I don't have this problem with mp3's(which sound softer) or when playing CD's. I use EAC to rip my cd's into wav files. Could the program I use to make my wav files effect the quality of the sound(at least in this manner of the problem)?

Thanks,
-Darin
