what im looking to do is use it for audio clips???thanks for any help

Rip the movie, open the vobs in dvd2avi, in the audio properties check the output to wav option, save the project. Once the project is saved you will find one HUGE wav file, open that in a sound editor and cut and paste out songs. There might be an easier way, but this way definately works, i used it before.

if you know the exact chapter of the movie, use smartripper and just check that chapter off to rip. Once ripped, use dvd2avi to make the audio portion. This saves having to rip the whole movie.
