I got a new dell notebook recently that came with an nec 6500 8x burner.
I have several shows in the form of video_ts folders on my hard drive that I want to burn dvds from. The software that came with the computer - my dvd- made no sense so I installed the most recent nero.

I tried several different folders and several different files and nerovision starts reading the files and then stops and says there's an error. I tried burning a cd and that was fine. I'd appreciate any suggestions. I'd like to get this to work.

I don't know if the error file would make sense to anyone. It's a long page full of text that makes no sense.

Try Nero Recode instead:
At Nero Recode, click 'Import DVD', then go highlight the video_ts folder (just the folder, not the files), confirm, and that's it.

It works great and it's so simple.
I don't think I would have found the recode solution without hours of searching.
