I just bought Nero Ultra 6 and I'm trying to burn some DVDs. I recoded a couple of avi files to mp4 using NeroRecode. I then used NeroVision Express to merge the two mp4 files, build a menu, and then burn to either DVD or hard disk. Everytime I attempt this, NVE analyzes the video, then just before the burn process starts, an Error window pops up with the following information:

OS: Windows XP Home Edition, SP2
CPU: AuthenticAMD, AMD AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+, MMX @ 2200 MHz

I believe I have all the latest software available as I only downloaded the Nero Suite two weeks ago. Has anyone else run into this problem? What did you do to fix it?

why not just load the AVI and make a dvd? (nero visionexpress) why are you making mpg4 from AVI then makeing dvd from mpeg4?

I actually did try that but the same error occurred. I also read somewhere that NeroVisionExpress doesn't like AVI files (which sounded a bit odd), so I converted to mp4 to be sure it wasn't a compatibility issue.
