I installed 1 click dvd copy v. 4.1.1.4 on trial but did not purchase at that time having tried out the three copies.

On the home website I noticed that the current version available to try is v. 4.1.1.8

I uninstalled the older version with the windows installer via the control panel normally but when I try to install the newer version I get the following message

Zugriffsverletzung bei adresse 7C92AE22 in modul "ntdll.dll" Lesen von Adresse 41504D4F

This translates literally I believe to Access injury in address 7C92AE22 in module "ntdll.dll" read from address 41504D4F

Please advise as to I may try out and hopefully purchase the latest version.

Thank you

plinth

My experience with trial versions is that once you have tried the program that is it, it will not let you have another trial. You could try a reg cleaner and see if that cleans out the file, something like ccleaner. Otherwise, buy the program if you like it. The newer version is the same as the older version, just has some cleaned up bug fixes. You could try trial versions of AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 by slysoft, they are much better programs for the money, or the two free programs DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter, guides are available in my sig. Happy burning :-)

did you ever find a resolution for this? I am getting an identical message but for a totally different installer. It seems to be related to some install shield programs, which I could only guess are german somehow.

Yes but only after a quite some time and effort.
1) Ifyou know what caused it and if you no longer need the application you could go into the registry Start/Run/type regedit and hit Enter/Expand HKEY both Current User and Local Machine and under the Software tab you will be able to manually delete the application that caused the problem. Be very careful and may sure you set up a restore point before you start. You need to run some registry clean up programs. Registry first aid, Registry doctor , Registry mechanic, or similar.
2) Also and try this first right click on the setup exe. of the app that you cannot install chose properties/ click compatability/ You will see windows 95 greyed out, tick the box and change the compatability to say windows 2000 if you have XP.
Good Luck

Why don't you just contact OneClick support and tell them what your problem is. They are great. The new version is 4.2.1.2.
