okay, i backed up the games Naruto: Narutimett Hero, and it's sequal. now i need to know which kinds of dvds to use. i have tried Sony brand DVD-Rs, and I just got a "Not a Valid PS2 Disc error." I heard somewhere that these games were both dual layered, and if that's the case, would it be better to use a DVD+R?

*is a total n00b, in case you haven't noticed*

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you have to have a modchip or swap magic to play the games. What version ps2 do you have?

I DO have swap magic (3.6), and i use it with a fliptop. It's somewhere between versions 4 and 7 (i had to find out to order the fliptop, and now all I remember is that it's 4-7 because it has 8 screws)

okay, i only have a couple though (don't wanna waste em), and I'm worried because i heard somewhere that the PS2 can't read DVD+Rs at all...do you know if that's true, or what?

Is there any special way I'd have to burn it, since it's supposed to be dual latered? or do i just burn it the normal way?

If you use DVD Decrypter it will copy dual layer discs, but without a mod chip you can't play it. Swap Magic won't work.
My V7 and V12 plays both +R and -R but i prefer the -R myself.
