midnight club 3 hdd music trouble

I just rented Midnight Club 3 and copied it to my hdd. I switched to mode 3 cause it wasn't working. Now the game starts but the music doesn't play at all. Is there a way I can fix this?

ok first off you illegally copied the game and thats not allowed in the forums and just to answer your question I never got it to work so I made a Backup on to a dvd+r disk and it works fine.

how come that when you download a game it's fine but when you copy it it's illegal. oh yeah, thanks for the tip.
