Download WinRAR. Use it to open the *.rar file. It will automatically add the r00, r01, r02, etc. files. Unpack the files to your hard drive. More than likely, the files that it will unpack will be image files. Just goto your favorite burning program, and tell it that you want to burn an image. Select the file or files that were unpacked and burn them to a disc.

try http://www.izsoft.dir.bg/... and download izarc it's a free Unarchiver for rar files once you unarchive the files you should end up with a ISO or Bin file that you can burn to disc

tried extracting it

shows up as 4.6 gb or whatever

when i start extracting it works fine up until about 90% then i get an error message saying 'only ntfs supports files larger than 4gb'

however

i am using an sata raid 0 array of 2 x 120 gb seagate drives which DOES support big files as i have a 4.6gb image on the hard drive already

what could be wrong?

Well, its not really the hard drives that need to support the large files, its Windows. Only the NTFS file system can read single files over 4GB in size. Goto My Computer and right-click on one of your hard drives. Go to properties and make sure that you are running the NTFS file system on that drive. Then check the other. It is possible that you are using the FAT32 file system, and Windows is reporting that the size is 4.6GB when really its not. We all know that Windows file sizes are never really correct. It could also be possible that you are running NTFS on one drive with the 4.6GB file, and FAT32 on the drive that you are trying to extract the image file to. I'm just thinking out my ass, and please don't think I think your stupid, just trying to help. BTW...What version of Windows do you have?

once you extract it and you have the ISO file just burn it with your favorite burning program and that's it.

finally managed to extract the iso!!!!

my slide tool will arrive on monday so i will be able to see if the backup works

just thought i would let you know that i figured out why the extraction was causing errors

my WinRAR temp directory was on my c:\ drive which is fat 32

the drive that all the stuff was on does support the large files but the temp files were too big for my other hard drive hence the errors!

thanks all for your support, always apreciated

ive learned alot from this site in the short time i have been on it

thanks again

You said that you were using the slide tool, so I suppose your using swap magic. Yeah...its common for swap magic games to load a little slow, especially with EA Sports games. Just make sure that your using good quality blanks and burning them at the slowest speed possible.

Some people experience slower loading times burning too fast. I would recommend burning at 1x or 2x to see if that helps.
