I Got it wrong. The spyware is DAE and the video software is AutoGK.

Since I posted this question I've found that there's a lengthy discussion on the AutoGK forums on the subject of DAE and how it's linked/integrated/whatever to AutoGK so I won't pursue it here. I would have found it sooner but I was searching on the wrong term, which makes stuff tougher to find. :) Sorry. :)
